FAQ's
1. Is Next Level Living a licensed care facility or group home?
No. Next Level Living is not a facility. It is an independent housing program where residents sign rental agreements, maintain full tenancy rights, and receive supports voluntarily under the Self-Determination Program (SDP) or Traditional RC services. All homes follow HCBS Final Rule guidelines.
2. Who is eligible to live in a Next Level Living home?
Eligible residents must:
Be able to qualify for Reginal Center Services
Be 18 years or older (Youth emancipating from Foster Care are Welcomed)
Be capable of living independently with or without support
Be willing to sign a rental agreement
Be adults currently living in Family Homes or Licensed Residential Facilities with current goals of transitioning to living independently
Freely choose to participate in our housing and support services
3. What services are included with the housing?
Services vary by resident need but may include:
Independent Living Skills Coaching
Personal Assistance (PA)
Social recreation and community integration
Transportation coordination
Employment readiness and Stability Coaching
4. Do I have to pay rent?
Rent is based on your income. If you have no income or are experiencing homelessness, your rent may be subsidized at $0/month until you are able to contribute. Each tenant signs a rental agreement and is supported to build a rental history.
5. Can I bring my own providers or support staff?
Yes. You may choose your own providers or receive services through our trusted in-house team. All support is person-directed and based on your individual needs and preferences.
6. How is Next Level Living different from a facility or licensed program?
You choose where and how you live
You sign a lease and have full tenant rights
You are not under staff supervision 24/7
Services come to you, instead of you conforming to a fixed program
You’re free to come and go, invite guests, and direct your daily routine
7. Is this a religious program?
No. While we offer optional faith-based life mentoring, participation is not required. We respect each resident’s personal beliefs and choices.
8. How do I apply or refer someone?
You can contact us directly via email or phone. We also accept referrals from:
Regional Center Service Coordinators
Independent Facilitators
Families or legal representatives
Social workers and advocates
9. Are the homes accessible for people with physical disabilities?
Some of our homes are fully or partially accessible. We assess each applicant’s needs individually to ensure appropriate placement or plan for accommodations.
